Asylum System > Unaccompanied Minors
Youth office, social services for unaccompanied refugee minors
One focus of the work is the counseling and psychosocial care of so-called unaccompanied minor refugees, who are supported daily in the social service in coping with their life situation. This is intended to strengthen these young people in their cognitive, emotional and social development. Children and young people, even more than adult refugees, are restricted in the shaping of their living conditions and need comprehensive psychosocial support so that they can develop into healthy and self-responsible persons.
