The Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) is the community of 20 Lutheran, United and Reformed churches in Germany. The scope of duties of the Evangelical Church encompasses far more than baptisms, weddings and confirmations. In addition to pastoral care and counselling, as well as a variety of engagements in culture, media and society a Christian-Muslim, or even Christian-Jewish Cooperation takes place.
