Housing project ROSA of eva (Evangelical Society Stuttgart registered association)

The ROSA housing project is taking in young immigrant women nationwide, who seek protection because they are threatened by forced marriage and so-called "violence in the name of honor" by their families. The employees of ROSA assist the affected young women in the application from their usual environment and support them in developing a new life perspective. The help is done in three steps. In the first step, the young women are acommondated in an anonymous apartment where they are initially protected against the threat of the family or the social environment. In the second phase the young women move into a sheltered residential group, where they can further consolidate their independence. The employees support them in realizing their individual lifestyles, for example by completing the school leaving certificate or finding a training place. In the last step, the young women move into their own dormitory where the ROSA team continues to provide them with outpatient care.
